Sina Kazemi, DC

  • Dr. Kazemi is a Doctor of Chiropractic and a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association and Canadian Chiropractic Association. He graduated from York University in 2007 with a degree in Kinesiology Health Sciences and graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2011. He has been certified in Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University in 2011. Dr. Kazemi utilizes a unique brand of contemporary techniques which include joint manipulation and mobilization, Medical Acupuncture, soft tissue technique, functional anatomical palpation F.A.P., rehabilitation exercises, and Graston technique to treat everyday clinical cases, sports injuries, work-related conditions, motor vehicle/whiplash injuries and performance care for athletes.

  • Dr. Kazemi has an extensive knowledge and understanding of Neurology, Anatomy, and rehabilitation which allows him to diagnose and treat conditions pertaining to the musculoskeletal system.

 

Saba Maftoun, PT

  • Saba Maftoun is a registered physiotherapist, in good standing with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Saba is graduated from University with Masters Degree in Physiotherapy and has extensive clinical experience with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, post surgery, and sport injuries in adolescent, adult/geriatric population and is also certified for assessment and dispensing Custom Made Orthotics. She is dedicated to achieve high standard of care for her patients through continuing education. She has done numerous post-graduate courses in manual therapy, pain management and orthotic prescription. Saba is passionate toward her work and incorporates her manual treatment techniques along with a use of wide range of therapeutic modalities including laser therapy, ultrasound, electrotherapeutic modalities, and individual exercise programming.

 

 

Maria Lucadamo, RMT

  • Maria graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2011 where she acquired ample experience in hospital, clinic, sport and corporate settings. As an RMT, her practice is focused on stress management, injury rehabilitation (working and treating sports related injuries), and the maintenance of good health.
  • Maria's mission is to determine a treatment plan, unique to each client, that meets his or her needs. Techniques included in her treatment plans are Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, stretches, Manual Lymph Drainage, and deep tissue as needed.

 

Maria Shapoval, HBSc, ND, MSc(c)

Dr. Maria Shapoval has completed her 4-yr Naturopathic Doctorate at the Canadian College of Medicine (CCNM; 2011) in Toronto, and went on to complete a highly competitive, 2-yr accredited residency program at CCNM with a focus on research of naturopathic care. Prior the CCNM she completed an Honors Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto, majoring in physiology and psychology. Maria has extensive clinical experience through her work at the Anishnawbe Community Clinic, LAMP Community Health Centre, Integrative Healthcare Center and Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic.

Maria is a regular contributor to the peer-reviewed Integrated Healthcare Practitioner (IHP) magazine and is part of the academic faculty at CCNM. Maria continues to actively engage in research and is currently working on publishing a systematic review on Parkinson’s disease and exercise, which she has presented at the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians Conference in Keystone, Colorado in July 2013.
